Heya Guys,
This is GirlyGeek here, and today, I will be telling you about my hamster.
I have a syrian hamster called Bella, I got her from pets at home for aproximately £9
She is quite young and I only got her a few months ago, and I love her to pieces, she has the westminster harrisons cage from my local pet store (you can also buy it from amazon)http://www.amazon.co.uk/Harrisons-Westminster-Hamster-Cage-3000g/dp/B001WQBR1M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1351458587&sr=8-1
if you want to buy this hamster cage I totally reccomend it, and here are some notes about the cage:
1. the wheel is deffinetly too small, The size is for a dwarf hamster which is silly because dwarsf would be able to fit through the cage bars, If your finger can fit through the bars, dwarfs can get stuck in between the bars and robos would easily be able to escape. Anyway the wheel is way too small so I used my habitrail ovo suite wheel which Bella loves.
2. the white/clear clips used to hold teh platform onto the cage should be used to hold all the doors shut (there are extras) as some hamsters will be able to escape from it if you don't.
apart from that I think this cage is amazing.
the food I use is hamster muesli by pets at home mixed with pets at home treats (dried corn, dried carrots, and sunflower seeds) and sometimes she has a bowl of sunflower seeds. This does not make her ill as the stuff in the treats are mized in to the hamster muesli as well as the sunflower seeds so she is ok.
Bye guys! xoxo <3
